Terms and Conditions
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website. By accessing or using horizonlifepartners.com (the “site”), requesting a quote, or submitting information through any form on the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About this site
Horizon Life Partners (“HLP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Texas-based organization that provides information about preneed funeral planning and insurance-backed funeral funding, and that connects Texas families with licensed insurance agents, licensed funeral homes, and insurance carrier partners. This site is intended for residents of the State of Texas and for use within the United States.
2. Not insurance advice or an offer of coverage
The content on this site is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any insurance product, annuity, or preneed funeral contract. Insurance products are offered only by appropriately licensed agents through licensed insurance carriers, and only in states where the product and the agent are licensed.
Coverage, benefits, eligibility, rates, exclusions, waiting periods, and limitations are governed solely by the terms of the policy or contract actually issued. If there is any conflict between information on this site and an issued policy or contract, the issued policy or contract controls.
Nothing on this site should be interpreted as legal, tax, financial, or estate planning advice. Please consult a qualified professional regarding your specific situation.
3. Quote requests and contact consent
When you submit a quote request, appointment request, or contact form, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a contract;
- the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and belongs to you or to a person who has authorized you to submit it;
- you consent to be contacted by HLP and its licensed agents and partners by phone, text message, email, or mail at the contact details you provide, including through automated dialing technology, regarding your request;
- consent to contact is not a condition of purchasing any product, and you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly.
Message and data rates may apply. Submitting a request does not create an insurance policy, bind coverage, or guarantee approval, pricing, or an appointment.
4. Accounts and portal access
Certain areas of the site — including policyholder, funeral home partner, and agent portals — require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for suspected misuse, inactivity, or violation of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
- submit false, misleading, or another person’s information without authorization;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, our systems, or another user’s account;
- introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the operation or security of the site;
- scrape, harvest, mine, or otherwise collect data from the site by automated means without our prior written consent;
- copy, reproduce, republish, or resell any content from the site for commercial purposes.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, page layouts, and software — is the property of Horizon Life Partners or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages from the site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. All other rights are reserved.
7. Third-party partners and links
HLP works with independent insurance carriers, licensed funeral homes, and licensed agents. These parties are independent entities, not employees or agents of HLP, and HLP is not responsible for their acts, omissions, products, services, pricing, or contractual obligations. The site may also contain links to third-party websites provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.
8. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide. By using the site, you consent to those practices.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the site is complete or current.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HLP and its officers, employees, agents, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — this site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HLP and its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the site, your submissions, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
12. Regulatory notice
Preneed funeral contracts and insurance-funded funeral arrangements in Texas are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance and the Texas Department of Banking. Consumers may contact those agencies with questions or complaints regarding preneed contracts, funeral providers, or insurance products.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Please review this page periodically.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HLP regarding your use of this site.
